Doctor of Physical Therapy
Cynthia received her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Binghamton in NY. She then moved to Miami to attend the University of Miami for her Masters in Physical Therapy. Cynthia also became a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and Athletic Trainer and spent 10 years working with a variety of athletes and orthopedic patients of all ages. She became a Board Certified Clinical Specialist in Orthopedics in 2000 and earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine in 2005. She has taught at multiple schools, including Coral Reef High School, Florida International University and the University of Miami. Cynthia is passionate about health and wellness. She uses Barnes Myofascial Release to help clients reach their full potential. Women’s health issues have become her focus since her twins arrived in 2000. She treats many diagnosis including pre- and post- natal, diastasis recti, urinary leaking, pelvic pain, incontinence, post-breast cancer and cervical/uterine cancer treatment pain. Cynthia has built her practice by successfully treating complex patients with a history of multiple injuries using an integrated therapeutic approach combining myofascial release, individualized exercise programs including Pilates, and a holistic view to her patient’s health. Helping people to restore their health and live life to their fullest is her passion.
